The short version: the resume summary generator runs in your browser. SummaryIn does not receive or store the role, skills, or resume text you enter into it.
Information you enter into the generator
The generator combines local templates with the choices you make on the page. This processing happens on your device. The text is not submitted to SummaryIn, stored in a SummaryIn account, or sent to an external AI provider. If you use your browser's copy function, the copied text is handled by your device and browser.
Analytics and technical information
SummaryIn uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are useful and how the site is accessed. Vercel describes this service as cookie-free and says it stores anonymized, aggregated analytics rather than identifiers that track a person across sites.
The analytics service may process information such as:
- the page or route viewed and the time of the visit;
- the referring site;
- browser, operating system, and device type;
- approximate geographic information derived from the request.
Hosting and security providers may also process standard request information, including IP addresses and server logs, to deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and maintain security. You can read Vercel's Web Analytics privacy documentation and Privacy Notice.
Email and contact information
If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include in the message. We use it to respond, investigate corrections, handle privacy requests, or evaluate a proposal. We keep correspondence only as long as it remains useful for those purposes or is required for legal or security reasons.
Some pages may display an email download form. When a form is connected to a mailing provider, the address you submit will be processed to deliver the requested resource and any follow-up you were clearly told about. We will identify the provider or update this policy before enabling a new collection method.
Cookies
SummaryIn does not currently set advertising cookies, and Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies. A third-party site you open from SummaryIn may use its own cookies under its own policy.
Sharing and selling information
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that host, secure, analyze, or operate the site. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the site, its users, or others from harm.
Data rights
